About JoinChat
JoinChat is a free website for group chat. Every room is about one topic, from Python and anime to travel, fitness and the city you live in. Anyone can read a room. With a free account you can post, reply, share photos and start rooms of your own.
What you can do
- Chat in real time. New messages appear as they’re sent. Reply to a specific message, mention people with @name and like what you agree with.
- Start a room. Give it a name, a topic and a few tags. Add a cover photo and rules, pin an important message, and make it members-only if you like.
- Keep it friendly. Room owners can delete messages and remove people from their room. Everyone can block people and report anything that breaks the rules.
- Get notified. When someone replies to you or mentions you, you see it under Notifications, and you can turn on phone notifications.
Who it’s for
JoinChat is for adults: you must be 18 or older to create an account. Rooms about adult topics are marked 18+ and ask visitors to confirm their age.
